Home Improvements

 Well, there is change in the air.  We recently found out we will be keeping our home and a few weeks lately Justin got a promotion. (Is that God's hand or what!?)  So, now Justin and I are full of home improvement ideas--finishing our fence in April!  Here are the improvements that were made this weekend! :)

 Unimportant side notes: That little green water pitcher is waiting for me to try a pinterest recipe for laundry soap, and that paint can is staying handy because I never know what day I'll create the time and energy to work on touching up doors and base boards in the house more.


                                                        Pantry before improvements

Pantry with one more shelf!  Not a huge declutter project on this one, more of

a desire to use the available space and have room for more food storage.

                             I forgot to take a before on this side of the pantry, but here it is with one

more shelf.  I still need to organize this side some more, but it's SO nice to have more space.  

(This is the side where we keep non-food stuff...pet food, band aids, crockpot and dehydrator, the kids little school work drawers, SOME craft stuff and paper products.)

This was a cheap and fun idea I saw on pinterest to declutter the sink area.

Once again, no before picture on this one.  But we used to have a cheap counter top microwave and ever since we LOOKED at this house, we've talked about getting one that fit in over the stove.  Well, as you can see this one hangs down a little lower than the cabinets, but I think it still looks nice.  I pushed for a white microwave to match all of our current appliances, but Justin wanted stainless steel.  It's true that our fridge is old and has had a leak that Justin has fixed like 3 times in the past year+, so that will probably be the next stainless steel appliance in our home.

This is a Samsung microwave.  Who knew they make appliances!?  Once again, Justin's choice on the brand as he loves all things Samsung.  Pretty fancy huh!?
